The main switch of XGN15-12 box-type fixed AC metal closed switchgear (I, II) adopts the original ABB SFG type SF6 load switch, FLN series load switch, permanent magnet mechanical vacuum circuit breaker, GE Power/VacVB type vacuum circuit breaker, etc. There are two modes of operation, manual and electric.

◇ Ring network cabinet is composed of bus room, load switch (or circuit breaker room), cable room, operating machinery, interlocking mechanism and low-voltage control room and measurement or metering circuit. Each compartment is divided by steel plate to avoid fault affecting the adjacent room.
◇ Bus bar room
◇ The busbar room is arranged on the upper part of the cabinet, and the main busbar is connected together in the busbar room and runs through the whole row of switchgear. The bus bar is arranged horizontally, which can be easily expanded.
◇ Main switch room
◇ Load switch room: The switch room is equipped with a load switch. The shell of the load switch is made of epoxy resin and filled with SF6 gas as an arc extinguishing and insulating medium. Two transparent hot-pressed plastic end covers are provided at the outlet end of the operating shaft, through which the contact state can be observed. The switch room can be equipped with SF6 gas density meter or gas density with alarm contact according to customer requirements.
◇ Circuit breaker room: Circuit breaker room is located in the middle of the cabinet, can be equipped with special vacuum circuit breaker or SF6 circuit breaker according to customer needs, its breaking capacity can meet the normal switching and branch network operation and special circumstances to break short circuit current, vacuum circuit breaker is especially suitable for frequent network system. The circuit breaker is equipped with a spring operating mechanism and has the function of reclosing, reliable operation and long life.
◇ Cable room
◇ Cable room is mainly used for cable connection, so that single-core or three-core cables can be connected with the simplest unshielded cable head, while sufficient space can also accommodate lightning arrester, current transformer, and lower ground switch components. According to the standard design, the cabinet door has an observation window and a safety interlock device, and the cable room bottom plate is equipped with a sealing cover and a suitable size cable clamp with a bracket. The front frame of the cable room bottom plate can be removed to facilitate cable installation.
◇ Operating mechanism, interlocking mechanism and low voltage control room.
◇ Low voltage room with interlock also plays the role of control screen. The low-voltage room is equipped with a spring-operated mechanism with a position indicator and a mechanical interlock device, and can also be equipped with auxiliary contacts, trip coils, emergency trip mechanisms, capacitive live display devices, key locks and electric operating devices. At the same time, the low-voltage room space can also be equipped with control circuits, recording instruments and protective relays. The 750mm wide cabinet has two identical low voltage room that can hold more accessories.
