ZGS-12 series American prefabricated box substation, suitable for 10kV loop power supply, dual power supply or terminal power supply system, as a power transformation, metering, compensation control and protection device.
Function and characteristics
◇ Fully insulated, fully sealed, no less maintenance, reliable guarantee of personal safety;
◇ Compact structure, the volume is only 1/3-1/5 of the same capacity, low height;
◇ Can be divided box structure, to avoid the oil pollution in the transformer tank;
◇ High voltage side adopts double fuse full range protection, greatly reducing the cost:
◇ Both can be used for ring network, can also be used for terminal, cable head can be in 200A load current emergency plug;
◇ The box adopts honeycomb double sandwich composite plate, temperature insulation and heat dissipation function;
◇ Low voltage side is equipped with electronic phase loss protector, when there is abnormal voltage in the system, it can quickly break the main inlet switch;
◇ High voltage side oil-immersed load switch or SF6 load switch, which can be electrically upgraded, laying the foundation for realizing the automation of distribution network.
◇ Adopt oil-immersed S9 or S11 series transformers with better performance.

The full range of protection is provided by the backup protection fuse and the plug-in fuse in series on the high voltage side of the American box, the principle is simple, economical and reliable; The backup protection fuse is oil-immersed high voltage current limiting fuse, with large breaking capacity, and only operates when the transformer is faulty inside. The plug-in fuse is equipped with double sensitive fuse, which can provide double protection of current and temperature. After the double sensitive fuse is blown, the core can be easily replaced on site.

Box- type transformer structure
The box-type structure of the product is composed of three parts: high voltage interval, low voltage interval and oil tank interval. The high voltage interval includes high voltage cable accessories, load switches, off-circuit tap-changer, plug-in fuses, pressure relief valves, oil level gauges, oil temperature gauges, and oil relief valves. The low-voltage interval includes low-voltage bushing, low-voltage meter, circuit breaker, and a capacitor compensation. The tank interval includes transformer windings and iron cores, radiators, high-voltage load switches and fuses in the tank. According to the requirements of the scheme, the Box- type transformer can be designed into “品”style or “目”style as shown in the figure below.

The surface of the concrete platform should be flat, and the combined substation is fixed on the platform by clamping plate.
The type of ground bar and cable fixing bracket can be determined according to the actual situation;
The cable fixing frame and ground bar should be pre- embedded.
The position of the inlet and outlet cable holes depends on the specific situation;
After the combination transformer is installed, the front side of the switch must have a gap of not less than 1.5m to facilitate operation;
Grounding net can be made of 12 galvanized round steel or 40×4 galvanized flat copper,
The grounding resistance must meet the requirements of the power department.
