MNS Low Voltage Draw-Out Switchgear

MNS type low-voltage withdrawable switchgear is developed by our company after referring to the MNS series low-voltage switchgear of ABB company in Switzerland and comprehensive improvement, which is currently the advanced low-voltage withdrawable switchgear in China. The products are composed of standardized, serialized modules, and the drawer has a reliable mechanical interlocking device, which

Regular service condition

The ambient air temperature shall not be higher than +40°C and not lower than -5°C, and the average temperature within 24 hours shall not be higher than +35°C. When the ambient air temperature is at +40°C, the relative humidity shall not exceed 50%. At lower temperatures, the relative humidity may be higher, for example, 90% at +20°C. However, due to temperature changes, moderate condensation may occur occasionally.

It is for indoor use, and the altitude of the installation site shall not exceed 2000m. It should be installed in a place without severe vibration, shock, and where electrical components are not corroded.

Structural Features

This switchgear has been technologically improved based on its original design to better suit China’s national conditions. The cabinet body uses C-shaped profiles with a modulus of 25mm, which are connected by connectors to form various frame structures and drawer units that can meet different requirements. In the MCC cabinet, high-strength flame-retardant engineering plastic components are used to make the safety performance more reliable. At the same time, foreign functional boards are modified and combined with a modulus of 200mm, making it more conducive to the design requirements of mixed PC and MCC cabinet bodies. The extraction unit (withdrawal unit) and the cabinet body are equipped with a reliable interlocking device to prevent load-breaking under energized conditions, improving safety. In addition, the cabinet body is generally assembled from cold-rolled steel plates after passivation treatment. It can also be made of aluminum-zinc coated steel plates according to different user requirements.

Switchgear Types

  • For incoming and bus-tie cabinets, various domestic and foreign frame circuit breakers such as RMW1, CW1, NA1, DW45, CDW7, MT, E series circuit breakers are used as main switches to achieve incoming or bus-tie functions.
  • Power center cabinets (PC) use various domestic and foreign frame circuit breakers such as DW45, NA1, CDW7, MT, E series circuit breakers for power distribution.
  • Motor control centers (MCC) are assembled from large and small drawers. The main switch of each circuit uses a high-breaking capacity molded case circuit breaker or a rotary load switch with fuses.

Reactive Power Compensation Cabinet

There are five sizes of drawer types for a more aesthetic appearance. With a modular structure design at a height of 8E (200mm), the effective installation height of components is 1800mm, making the overall layout of the cabinet more reasonable.

  • 8E/4: Height 200 x Width 150 x Depth 400. Four drawer units are assembled in parallel in the height space.
  • 8E/2: Height 200 x Width 300 x Depth 400. Two drawer units are assembled in parallel in the height space.
  • 8E: Height 200 x Width 600 x Depth 400. One drawer unit is assembled in the height space.
  • 16E: Height 400 x Width 600 x Depth 400. One drawer unit is assembled in the height space.
  • 24E: Height 600 x Width 600 x Depth 400. One drawer unit is assembled in the 24E (600mm) height space.

The above five drawer units can be assembled singly.
